no more street selling by Abia state Government

okezie ikpeazu, Abia State,According to the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Kate Nwosu, a bill is presently at the State House of Assembly that would make street trading and hawking illegal and a criminal offence.

She hinted that when this bill is passed into law, it would ensure that anybody caught selling on the street would be prosecuted and tried in the mobile court.

Meanwhile, those selling perishables like vegetables, fruits amongst others have been advised by the government to quickly relocate to a neighborhood market, close to them because the administration would not condole any excuse from any defaulters as soon as the bill is passed into law
