Image result for IMAGE OF KOLANUT         Image result for IMAGE OF KOLANUT   Image result for IMAGE OF KOLANUTImage result for IMAGE OF KOLANUTKolanut , a widely consumed nut in Africa that is found on Strepculiacasea tree . It is used in ceremonies and given during visitation and part of the cultural heritage of some parts in Africa. Kolanut extracts have been harnessed by some cola producing companies and also it has been used for medicinal purpose. The significance of kolanut to Africans take a major part in the instigation of researchers to elucidate the effects of kolanut on humans evolving the dearth studies about kolanut to many. Several advantageous effects could be effected on humans moreover it also has it deleterious influence on health especially when consumed indiscriminately and excessively.

 ADVANTAGE

Kolanut has very high caffeine content with dominance above other chemical constituent within, caffeine is known for it ability to hinder sleep, encourage alertness and dismay fatigue. This stimulating potential is further jazzed up by threobomine that is a stimulant. These two stimulants make Kolanut a natural stimulant that has been used for this stimulating purpose for years.

Synonymously to bitter kola, kolanut could also be taking by those with Asthma or whooping cough , because of it influence on the bronchioles , it induces bronchiole dilation making passage of air free.

THERE IS HEALING IN YOUR DOOR

Photo of Lars                                                                                                                                                                    Hi, My name is Lars and I would like to tell you how God miraculously healed my friend Rebecca from a whole list of diseases, including deafness, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, tinnitus, and rhinitis.

Rebecca went to school with Claudia and Billy, who had been Christians for a long time in our Assembly. Shortly after getting to know them Rebecca’s parents told her to not get involved with them, because they thought that they were part of a cult, which didn’t stop Rebecca though and a good friendship developed between them. Over the years they lost touch though, as Rebecca had moved to Dunfermline by the time she was 19, in order to study.

At that time she was deaf in her right ear: She suffered from congenital sensory neural hearing loss. The doctors had discovered it when she was 4 years old, and by the time she was in her teens she had to start wearing a hearing aid. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when she was 14, although she had suffered from it as well as many other health conditions for some time before. Some of these include: chronic fatigue syndrome, TMJD (jaw joint pain), epicondylitis (tennis elbow), patellofemoral syndrome (housemaid’s knee), irritable bowel syndrome, tinnitus, and rhinitis.
At 19 she was already so sick that it became impossible for her to live a normal life

Until Rebecca was 19 she had managed to live with her health the way it was. It was always a struggle but somehow she still managed to go to school, go to work, and have a social life. But then, not long after moving to Dunfermline she became really sick. The pain became so severe, and the tiredness so overwhelming that she could hardly get out of bed. Soon it became impossible for her to live a normal life. The pain and tiredness became so debilitating that her studies suffered and she struggled to cope with her part time job. On top of this she had developed glossopharyngeal neuralgia, which is when an artery and a nerve lean on one another at the back of the brain; this caused such excruciating pain, it was as if being stabbed directly through the left ear into the head. There were occasional good days when she could go out for a small walk, however most of the time she was bed-ridden.

If you have suffered with any of these health conditions or similar ones you will understand the extreme pain and discomfort she was in. In order to cope with the pain she went to hospital for steroid injections and was also taking many different types of strong painkillers and sedatives including tramadol (morphine based) and diazepam. Additionally, she was also taking strong anti-inflammatory drugs such as arthrotec, which gave her stomach ulcers. With regards to the glossopharyngeal neuralgia, the doctors wanted to operate: opening up her skull and putting a tiny piece of cushion in between the artery and nerve in her brain. This was to try and eliminate the pain altogether, and there was an 80% chance that the operation would be a success.

...she felt trapped and being cut off from the world...

By this stage she had lost all her ambitions, felt trapped and being cut off from the world: She did not have a social life anymore, had to give up her studies and her part time job, too. The doctors said she would never get better and she went and saw a psychologist because of the depression and desperation she was in. Her daily thoughts consisted of “How can this be?” “What did I do to deserve this?” and “Is there any point anymore?”

When she was at her lowest she was plagued with permanent thoughts of suicide. She had to move back in at her parents’ place, as she could no longer live by herself anymore. That’s when she started crying out to God and wanted to get in touch with her friend Claudia again. A couple of weeks after being back at her parents place she bumped into Claudia, who then eventually invited her for to come along to a church meeting. This was where I met Rebecca for the first time. Rebecca told us how much at home she felt with us and due to her sickness it was another few weeks before she could come again. During this meeting we talked about the power of God and that God wants people to be healthy and expects his followers to pray for the sick. We read many scriptures like MARK 16:15-20, ISAIAH 53:5, MATTHEW 4:23, and HEBREWS 13:8 and explained them.
The power of God healed her from EVERYTHING!

Many people received prayer in that meeting and Rebecca asked for prayer for her glossopharyngeal neuralgia she suffered from. We laid hands on her and prayed in Jesus’ name (MARK 16:18). She was initially still in pain, as if somebody stabbed through her ear, but the moment she stepped outside as she left the meeting the pain completely went; for the first time in 3.5 years and to this day the pain has never come back. She realised that God is real and came back the following week, despite her parents threatening her to chuck her out if she went again. We happened to have a prayer night that Friday and led Rebecca through the Scriptures about how to be saved. We looked at Scriptures concerning baptism by immersion and Rebecca then asked to be baptized, which we did straight away in the upstairs bathtub . Afterwards we looked at some Scriptures about receiving the Holy Spirit (ACTS 2:4, LUKE 11:13), and we then laid hands on her and asked God to fill her with the Holy Spirit. As a result she then started to speak in new tongues and was born again.

...she almost jumped up because it was so loud...

We then laid hands on her again and asked God to heal her completely, from the whole list of health problems she suffered with, including the deafness in her right ear and God healed her immediately, from everything! Straight after I talked into her right ear she almost jumped up because it was so loud. The whole right side of her world had become alive with sound! She was no longer deaf and got rid of her hearing aid. The fibromyalgia had gone as well and all the pain she had suffered for years had just disappeared. She said she just felt like running, as she was so full of energy. To top it all off that night, for the first time in a long time she managed to sleep. THIS MORNING GOD WILL HEAL YOU FROM ALL THE SICKNESS IN YOUR LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN

Bitter Kola Improves Lung Functions Bitter kola (Garcinia kola) has been used for centuries to treat chest colds in traditional medicine, but research has taken a look and found out why it is effective. A study in the 2009 issue of The Internet Journal of Pulmonary Medicine, performed on mice, reports that Garcinia kola improved respiratory function after 28 days of use of a Garcinia extract. Written by Simon Adekunle of the Ekiti State University in Nigeria, the study shows that Garcinia kola works by dilating the alveolar ducts and sacs in the lungs by improving the strength of the fibers in the lung tissue. Bitter kola’s beneficial lung properties are attributed to its high antioxidant content. 2. Bitter Kola Health Benefit for Malaria Considerable experimental studies found the chemical constituents in bitter kola have anti-malaria properties. That aside, traditional healers have for many years prescribed bitter kola for the treatment of malaria infections. Researchers who reported that bitter kola had anti-malaria effect in the 2010 issue of Journal of Medicinal Plants Research, from a survey of plants used by traditional healers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, attributed this to its quinones content. Further more, kolaviron, the powerful chemical compound found in bitter kola, was reportedly tested on a malaria parasite and found to inhibit malarial activity. 3. Bitter Kola Benefit for Male Fertility (Impotence) Garcinia kola, also called bitter kola is sometimes believed to cure impotence. Frequent taking of bitter kola boosts man performance in bed with a woman. 4. Bitter Kola Health Benefit for Glaucoma (Eye Pressure) An increase in eye pressure can lead to glaucoma, according to a report from The New York Times Health Guide. Researchers at Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria tested the effectiveness of eye drops that contained 0.5 percent extract of Garcinia kola. The results of their study, published in the January 2010 issue of Middle East African Journal of Opthamology, showed that the opthamolic solution that contained the Garcinia significantly reduced eye pressure when used twice a day. 5. Bitter Kola Health Benefit for HIV Bitter kola is a potent antibiotic which could be efficacious in the treatment of HIV and AIDS. A researcher with the Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency (NNMDA), Mrs. Chinyere Nwokeke told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that bitter kola could be used in treating opportunistic infections associated with HIV. “Bitter kola is highly recommended in the treatment of HIV and AIDS because of its antibacterial, detoxification, and cleansing properties”, she said. Minister for Health, Isaac AdewoleThe Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, will on Oct. 4, launch the first National HIV quality improvement projects in Abuja.

Mr Dennis Mordi, the Communication Manager, Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN), announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.
According to the statement, the project aims at improving the diagnosis of HIV in babies and that both adults and babies who tested positive are promptly placed on treatment.
Mordi stated that the initiative would institutionalise structured process of using data, collected at health facilities, to facilitate informed decision-making at the national level for improved service delivery.
“A standard operating procedure (SOP) to guide the implementation of the projects, will be unveiled during the meeting,’’ he stated.
The statement quoted Mrs Chinenye Ugorji, the Project Director of the Nigerian Alliance for Health Systems Strengthening (NAHSS), as saying that the SOP “will increase quick identification of service delivery gaps’’.
Ugorji noted that the initiatives would explore and improve early infant diagnosis and initiate anti-retroviral therapy among infants and adults exposed to HIV.
She also said that the SOP was developed by the Federal Ministry of Health with technical assistance from the University of Maryland, U.S.
It is also being implemented in collaboration with other U.S. Government-funded implementing partners.

Supreme Court suspends hearing of appeal against Gov

Okezie IkpeazuThe Supreme Court on Tuesday temporarily suspended the hearing of appeals against the election of Okezie Ikpeazu as governor of Abia pending harmonisation of processes by the parties.

Justice Tanko Mohammed-led six other justices of the apex court to arrive at the decision.
Three motions brought by Dr Uche Ogah of PDP, All Progressives Grand Alliance and Alex Oti, were heard and decided.
Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), Dr Alex Izinyon (SAN) and Chief Patrick Ikwueto (SAN) represented the governor, Ogah and Oti respectively.
On Oti’s motion for joinder, Mohammed held that the court required proper addresses to be filed by parties since the application had become contentious.
“In the light of this, we would not be going on with the hearing of the substantive appeals.
“The Counsel to Oti is given four days to file his written address to convince the court why his client should be joined in the matter.
“The respondents counsel are given seven days to file their replies while the applicant’s counsel is given another extra two days to file his replies to the respondents’ arguments,’’ he said.
Mohammed also held that a new hearing date would be communicated to the parties when all the processes were received by the court.
The Court if Appeal had on Aug.18 upheld Gov. Ikpeazu’s election as governor of Abia by nullifying an Abuja Federal High Court judgment which declared Ogah as governor of Abia.
Justice Okon Abang had on June 27 found Ikpeazu, guilty of tax offences and nullified his election as governor.
Dissatisfied with the decision of the Court of Appeal, Ogah approached the apex court to test the strength of the judgment

HOW A WOMAN RECIEVE MIRACLE BABY

Photo of Jo-Anne                                                                                    Hello, my name is Jo-Anne and I come from Coffs Harbour, Australia.
I would love to share with you the story of how the Lord healed me from some problems that I experienced during my first pregnancy. About two years ago I moved to France with my husband Michy for a period of about eight months.
About two months after we arrived in Paris, I was overjoyed to discover that I had fallen pregnant with our first child. At about twelve weeks I went to a specialist for an initial ultrasound to check that the pregnancy was progressing normally. The ultrasound showed that I had a serious condition called Placenta Praevia. In layman’s terms that means the placenta was sitting in the wrong position, at the bottom of my womb. In the early stages of pregnancy this is relatively harmless, but as the baby grows heavier it becomes more serious and the mother must have complete rest if a life-threatening haemorrhage is to be avoided. It can be very dangerous for both the mother and child. This condition usually means that the baby cannot be delivered in the normal manner, but I would need to have the baby by Caesarean section. There are varying degrees of this condition, but my prognosis was that I had the worst type of Placenta Praevia.
I immediately went home and told my husband about the problem, and that it would mean that I would not be able to return to Australia to have the baby. I was very concerned, so we talked about it and I quoted to myself the scripture in HEBREWS 11:6, which says that he that cometh to God must BELIEVE. My husband and I laid hands on my stomach and we prayed that everything in my womb would move to the correct position. INSTANTLY I felt something in my tummy move and I knew that the Lord had performed a mighty miracle. When I went back to the doctor a few weeks later everything was completely normal and the doctor could not believe it. I WAS COMPLETELY HEALED! Praise the Lord! We now have a beautiful healthy little son called Jonathan and since then we've also had a lovely little girl as well. I thank the Lord every day for my wonderful and healthy family/

HOW TO START MAKING MONEY WITH Papayas also known as pawpaw

Image result for image of paw paw farm           Image result for image of pawpaw farm                           People neglected the opportunity of making business out of pawpaw farming because of lack of proper orientation of what growing papaya entails? Are you thinking of what to do with the little money and time you have? Why not try investing the money into growing papaya for business? Its not capital intensive and it yields huge profit.
Raise Seeds For Pawpaw Farming

Papayas also known as pawpaw don’t transplant well. Papaya is a delicate plant, anything that disturbs the roots of papayas wouldn’t make it grow well. The best and most effective practice is pawpaw farming is to plant the seeds directly to where they will grow, no transplanting.

Buy the best species of ripped pawpaw

Get a piece of land, clear it and burn the refuge to ashes. Then plant your pawpaw seed 5metres away from each other. Now sprinkle on some of your seeds. A couple of dozen per bed is a good amount. I usually use even more… Cover the seeds lightly with more compost, and then mulch the patch well. The seeds usually take about a couple of weeks to germinate, and may take longer.

SEE ALSO: How To Start Banana And Plantain Farming In Nigeria And Make Millions

After one or two months, clear the weeds  around the crops and do not dispose the refuge, but allow it to decay. This will serve as a manure to the land. After two more months, start transplanting the pawpaw to some places were you feel the gap is more than 5meters. During the transplanting process only two stand should be left in the planted spot reason being that one of the two may turnout to be a male and male papaya doesn’t fruit but you need them for cross pollination. You only need one male for every ten to fifteen female plants to ensure good pollination.

After three months buy a chemical called uproot, force up or any other herbicides chemical to spray the land. This will help the crops to be balanced and ready for production. After six months, apply the same chemical, spraying it all around the farm land. Within the next three weeks, you will see the fruiting getting interesting, then allow for three more  months for it to be strong and start ripping.

MASSOB and IPOB have launched a campaign against President Muhammadu Buhari

During his UN address, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said that devastation created by Boko Haram had been compounded with climate changeImage result for biafra image

According to a report by The Sun, former president-general of the Igbo apex group, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Dr. Dozie Ikedife wondered why the President would not allow a referendum in a democratic country.

Ikedife said: "Since he will not allow referendum, then the logical thing to ask him is, is this democracy or dictatorship? Is it his will or the will of the people that will prevail? These are the natural things that follow. Is it his discretional will or the will of the people that will prevail?
“If he won’t allow referendum, what will he allow? Does he remember that any group of indigenous people has right for self-determination? And when we are talking about referendum is not for him to vote, it does not concern him.
"So, whether he allows it or not, when the time comes referendum will take place and people will be allowed to express their opinion and their wish. And I am sure that the reaction of the civilised world to such a statement will be a measure of shock and surprise, so let him think again.”

In the same vein, leader of MASSOB, Comrade Uchenna Madu said the President was only bluffing about the referendum because he is jittery.

He said: “President Buhari’s latest comment on Biafra further proved his is jittery, confused and unable to quench the fire of determination and consciousness of Biafra.
“The just concluded United Nations General Assembly which Buhari attended have dawn it on him that Biafra actualisation and restoration to independent and full statehood can no longer be ignored. The world leaders have shown their sympathies for the oppressive and subjective economic policies of Buhari-led Nigeria government against the industrious and creative people of Biafra.

“The Oriental, Asian and Western world are seriously in support of Biafra because 60 per cent of their economic growths are been propelled by the industrious people of Biafra. It has dawn on President Buhari that the universal clamour for Biafra referendum to determine the choice of the people of Biafra between his Nigeria and Biafra have reached greater height of momentum which he can’t deny.”

During a media event at the end of his visit to the United States as the leader of Nigeria’s delegation to the 71st United Nations’ General Assembly (UNGA), Buhari had foreclosed any chance for a referendum as a path to resolving the agitation of the Igbo groups.
